I thought about Billy Davies and would be very happy with that provided he shut his gob moaning about money and just got on with making the most of a pretty decent squad here with of course the addition of the 2 defenders that we ALL know we need... p.s. I shouldn't really be doing this but I have just noticed that Hills are offering 23/10 (or 6/4 with the draw taken out) for the Gas against Leyton Orient tomorrow night - you know, the team that have NO points at all yet. No guarantee that the Gas are going to win of course but you have to look for value these days and that looks pretty decent to me so I've couldn't resist a medium size dabble...

The rumor mill is full of it, just as an experiment I wrtoe a thread on old 606 claiming that Bristol City were closing in on a defensive midfielder Kevin Wilson who is 26. He is actually 20 stone and plays in my park side, within 24 hours a boat load of Nottingham fans had some how got hold of it and thought we were discussing Kelvin Wilson. There were pages of replies to how Kelvin would fit in to our side, and them saying they had heard he was on the move, before you know it some fans were drawing our best side in formation on the site including this lad. It litterally all spiraled from me writing a joke thread about my gert mate being linked with the Reds. It only takes a whisper and it can go bananas.
Remember that rumour about us signing Michael Owen a couple of seasons ago? That took off like clamydia at a teenage sleepover! Even the evil post picked up on it. Owen himself was so spooked by it he actually got FIT for a couple of games and scored a goal!
