I don't see why it should be. I think Watford will be comfortably safe this season. They've got a nice tidy little squad there who are working their arses off for each other, and have goals in them.
And since SA has come here, we seem to have similar for the most part? They have a small squad which could well be their problem - much like Leicester - if they stay fit and suspension free they'll be fine - but if they get a couple of injuries it will take it's toll
We have to win against teams in and around us. So calling it a 6 pointer is probably right. Watford already on 22 points and have had some pretty decent results, but can that continue, they bound to have a little dip. if we win then only 7 points behind. Tough games against Chelsea, Liverpool and Citeh coming so have to make the most of these games.
I feel it's a winnable game and we must be up for it.yeh it's a six pointer I think they will be down there come the end of the season.
Pretty harsh on Watford to call it a 6-pointer. They're 9 points out of the relegation zone and probably only need another 13-15 from their last 23 games. We've got 13 from our first 15 and we're ****e. It looks really important as the games following it are a nightmare but Watford were much better at St James than Liverpool or Chelsea were (both games we should have won) and if you battle well and only draw I wouldn't call it a bad result its about building momentum and gathering any points you can. That unexpected Palace win got you right back in touch with everyone else.
I wouldn't say a six pointer at this stage as I think they will be safe this year, under previous managers we seem to struggle against teams around us. Hopefully Sam will get the team up for this match, get a win and more confidence going into the tough run of games coming up.
I just find it odd that anyone, never mind a club manager, would be talking about 6pointer games in early December. Whether it's true or not, it's just wrong.
I agree. A six pointer is only a six pointer because of the difference three points makes to each team. Ie each team stands to gain 3 points or lose three. 3+3=6 Watford are clear atm
