Would be fantastic deal, But at 1.5 million i doubt it.

Perhaps 1.5 million + Miskin would swing it.

Been mentioned on the BBC rumours page aswell.
I think it will depend on how Donny are doing in January. If they are still deep in the relegation struggle and basicallty give up hope on staying in the league they may well sale to get his wages of the books and prepare for life in league 1. If they have a good chance of getting out then I would imagine it would be highly unlikely to see them sell for such a small price.
Does this mean we have worries over Scotland or Chopra?
Does Sharp offer anything different to them?
We need more options upfront but I cant see that Sharp will give something different. I would argue we need a Shefki, Lee, Walters presence to give us a new dimension

His contract at Donny is running down so the price will drop accordingly. Perhaps they now want to cash in while they still can!

Sharp will bring the goal poacher instinct that we lack and the much needed pace up front. Chops is a great finisher but most of his goals are scored from around the 18 yard box. Sharp is the type of player that can get behind and is clinical in front of goal as we found out last season!

If there is anything in it the 1.5 Million would be way off the mark even if they are desperate to sell. Perhaps they mean an upfront payment of 1.5 followed by a subsequent payment of X amount in January. Would very much like to see him here, lack of height is frustrating sometimes but Sharp/Chopra combination would be exciting.

Seems to be a weird time for a story like this, right inbetween the transfer windows and its not as if its a quiet news day around ITFC with regards to Chops situation and the game coming up. Perhaps there is more truth in it than we give credit!

A very good player but I'm not sure how I would feel if this was to actually happen. Obviously I would not be dissapointed but like a few of you have said I think him and chopra are similar types of players, both of a similar age and I'm sure both would be expected to play. I do not really see both being able to be accommodated in the same team but then again I said the same about Scotland and Chopra. Also When Chopra doesn't play our goal threat is quite severly reduced. I do think we are more in need of someone who is more of target man who can hold the line and provide knockons for Chops, someone is we are under a bit of pressure we can just knock the ball upto.

Perhaps this story has come about because of the Chopra debacle, papers have seen this and think oh we could make a story out of this!!!

I can’t see this being true; a players value cannot drop that much in only 3 months!! Also surely Doncaster will not sell there star player while there is any chance of them staying up as he could well be the difference for them. If it had not been for his injury they may not be where they are now.

Although would love to see him here and it is good to be linked with player like him.
