    Is the reason why...

there are so many budgies on our board tonight because they're surprised that McCarthy hasn't turned it around in one game?

    Oops daisy

I guess that means that you didn't go to selhurst park then?

    What a surprise.

I cannot wait for guru's take on this during his working day.

Why don’t you make like a Norwich board mod and ban them? What is the point of these trolls? They contribute nothing whatsoever. This board is becoming a pointless exercise – I came on here this morning for information about last night and it’s just threads started by sneering budgie children.

I can only speak for myself but I have never given Norwich any 'tripe' even when you were relegated, in fact I kept myself to myself and followed my own club on our own board. I am also one of the rare few tractor boys that fully expected you to stay up last season (congratulated you when you did) and if I'm honest wouldn't mind seeing you in the Premiership again next season. (Would have loved to see Lambert get you relegated, but I have a lot more respect for Houghton)

So before you start mud slinging (which in fairness there probably was plenty when shoes were on other feet) that your consistency on our boards is only making yourselves look a little desperate for attention. You have your own club to talk about as do we. By all means contribute, give the occasional WUM attempt, give us unjustified opinions of our own players (as I'm sure we have/do to you) as these are free boards for everyone but it does seem a little too overplayed at times, particularly by a certain few

Well accept my apologies king , but yes I had it handed out in bucket loads

Until our two clubs get their highs and lows in synch and we can have a good laugh on the terraces what's a guy to do?

Can't believe with all ME s money that you ended up with MM who will probably in time steady the ship but can you really think he would inspire you, Holloway might be a bit of a clown but he is the type of guy who would be fun to work for and would pull a dressing room together and get people playing for each other that's what Lambo did for us back in our dark days

I can't see us ever both being successful at the same time, it's never happened in my lifetime. It's one or the other flying high.... Or in the majority of cases, neither. I was underwhelmed by the appointment of McCarthy, probably because I was so enthusiastic to see Holloway here because he struck me as the perfect antidote to the duldrums we have got ourselves into, he has a record that is steadily improving and a host of players and former players that have nothing but admiration for his man management and motivational ability, as he is actually a good manager not just a part time comedian. But I can certainly appreciate MM is a good manager, just with a different approach (hopefully a successful one) and as I did with Keane and Jewell I will back him to the very end and I imagine we will again finish 15th at the end of the season

SJC, Ive never given you or your team any tripe. I want to see us both doing well. Us better obviously but if we were in the champions league I would want you in the UEFA cup (I may not hate you but I want some form of bragging rights) I dont hate my rivals just because they are Rivals, I honestly dont see the point. I honestly said that I thought you were one of the best teams to come to PR a couple of seasons back and blamed the sending off incident in the same season on us being a disorganised shower of **** rather than Holt being a cheat.
I think I have only posted on the Norwich board 2 or 3 times and one of those was last season when some of your fans were moaning about a difficult spell and I posted that most teams fans would eat their own arm to have the kind of progress you had seen in the past few seasons. The others have all been positive rather than negative. I know you will lump us all together as being the same but I think you'll find that there are only 3 or 4 posters that go and annoy you on your own board.
I like the cross board banter but please dont disguise it has only doing it as pay back.

I think that you have to accept it as part of the fun of the Ipswich-Norwich thing. After all we don't have the Derbies to liven things up.I congratulated Ipswich on Saturday,it was a good result. The only thing to take comfort from last night was it was at the hands (or feet) of a team heading for the top flight.Personally I hope that you stay up.

Cruyff, I didnt have a laugh at Norwich's downfall but I know others did and I expect it in return now. I liked Cromers comment above, even though it was having a laugh at our expense. I have no problems with the banter but I think its fairly poor for SJC to say he is having a laugh at us because we started it during your bad seasons.

I think you Norwich boys have completely misjudged the mood. We have just appointed a new manager, I for one didn't expect us to rocket out of the bottom three, in fact I fully expected us to be in League One next season, if that doesn't happen it's a bonus.

I don't expect to see you go down this year, for the same reason that I don't expect us to.In both cases there are three poorer teams in the division.

you can stay up. Your lucky that Mark Hughes is a terrible manager, Southampton seem to be torn between signing superstars and upsetting the squad (Gaston Ramirez could be there Tevez debacle) and others havent got going

I may be worrying because its my own team but on evidence so far Im not convinced there are 3 teams worse than us. A goal difference of minus 20 already. We cant score, we cant defend, We are battered by good but not world class teams on a regular basis. We have time to sort it out but I havent got confidence that we will.

Regardless, you guys are still new to the league and should be happy with 4th bottom this season. Not meaning to sound big headed but a club our size with a multi millionaire owner, (admittedly hes a cock) some of the better facilities in the division and some apparently highly rated players shouldnt be expecting a relegation fight.

That must be the most worrying thing, a minus 20 goal diff equates to losing an extra point.
i.e. you win two on the bounce and those above lose two, you would still not leap-frog them<ok>

Well said TB. On current form there's no way we will survive this year. Looks like ME has given MM a long contract because he wants some stability at the club as we rebuild from league one.
Gripes from me at the moment are that Edwards persists at right back and Martin is still playing every week. He may work hard for the team but he doesn't create enough or make things happen the way he should.
It is already so important for us to take points from the teams that are in and around us, that's the only way we'll survive.
