Song, rvp: leave sahin, mvila, mirallas/llorente: in i think song would be a bigger loss perosnally due to lack of back up in that position but i still feel we would be left with a strong squad despite these departures. I know most will feel its ridiculous to compare mirallas to llorente as they will maintain llorente is far superior. I'm personally not so sure. The following links allude to the possible departures of the afore mentioned whie the final link confirms llorente has refused to sign a new contract. http://translate.googleusercontent....177538&usg=ALkJrhg25RBttSqcpSOWQR9ldiO113V6ZA http://menmedia.co.uk/manchestereve...-united-ready-to-secure-robin-van-persie-deal (courtesy of cym) http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/s...set-to-leave-athletic-bilbao---report?cc=5739
I don't think we'll sign M'Vila, I think AW has been put off by the asking price and off-field problems he has had recently tbh. I think if Song leaves, Sahin coming in is a very real possibility, which is good because, as good as Song is, Sahin is better and if we can secure a decent buy out clause for him, it'd be a great deal. I also don't see us signing any new strikers and the two you've listed are unlikely really. Llorente will cost far too much and I can't see other top European clubs passing him up. Mirallas is slightly more realistic from the point of view that he'd solely be a backup striker, but I just can't see it happening and don't want it to happen. But if Song leaves, I'm pretty sure we'll sign someone else to replace him as he plays a pretty integral role in our system that no one as of yet is ready to step into.
