of course it is - not even a debate. Why Kane only btw, it's unfair on Eriksen, Son, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Lloris, Mason and Dier as well.
More unlucky than unfair. Europa league is always a Thursday night and P.L games for teams in Europe on the Sunday. Been that way for ages. The fact they were away in the back end of nowhere is unlucky though. But that's what a squad is for. The big sides juggle Europe and P.L campaigns year after year.
I'm mildly amused by this wum attempt, so I will give it a cautious B+ with a recommendation of "could do better."
Mourhino, in his press conference, has said that no one should laugh if people say that Spurs could win the league.
I think he's genuinely ****ting his pants at the prospect of his Chelsea being torn new ones all over the park, on Sunday.
That doesn't explain why we keep getting games moved on the weekend before the European games, though. Our schedule for Villa/Anderlecht/Arsenal was Monday/Thursday/Sunday. Three games in seven days. The West Ham/Qarabag/Chelsea schedule is Sunday/Thursday/Sunday, which is a little more reasonable, but still a bit of a pisstake. All of Liverpool's games prior to their Europa League fixtures have been on a Saturday, so I don't think that it's about the TV deals. The only one that we've had that wasn't on Sunday or Monday was against them. Perhaps their chairman's negotiating harder with Sky and BT or Levy's chasing the money more?
Well, Mourhino thinks we can win the league. That's a glowing endorsement, I would have thought. What do you lads think?
Haven't seen you this season so unsure. Last time I remember you challenging seriously for the league was 84/5. You lost at home to Everton and it all fell apart
