Bates infamous, bordering on slanderous notes, missing from yesterday's match program. Looks like gfh are gradually removing all traces of the old bastard from the club, bit like the way he was ouste at Chelsea. Hard to see him staying around much longer without the opportunity to do tv interviews or have his drivel published in the program. Can't see an eighty year old bothering to fly from Monaco or wherever to simply watch games involving a club he doesn't even support. Doubt if too many will miss those weekly rumblings from him either
