Two goals by Suarez against Peru yesterday is a sign that Suarez is a predator. Time is on his side, he can be predator and prolific striker. Unlike Andy Carroll who I think is a prolific striker- because most of his goals are likely to come from outside the area, Andy can also be both. The two footballers are not in the class of Ruud Van Nisteiroy, Thiery Henry,Raul Gonzalez or Zlatan Ibrahimovic yet, but time is on their side. Between them I think they can score fifty goals in a season, though I do not know who would score the most.
To be a footballer I would have thought you'd have to eat a balanced diet - so the answer to your question is: No, He's an Omnivore.
Yea, and he does have a reputation for getting hungry during matches hence the random biting of players' ears.
suarez will miss more chances simply because he knows that the more and earlier he makes an attempt the bettr chance of scoring. You'll see him take risks. Carroll will score more conventional gals i nthe box with some screamers mixed in hopefully. If i were a betting man i'd put my money on Carroll to score just about the 20 goals over the course of the full year if his body holds up. I'd bet on suarez to get 25+ and score them in hot and cold streaks..... ..... I wish i could think of some smart comment but its too early this morning...
No prob mito, it's good that someone is making a sensible comment. I'm the opposite, I can't think of anything rational to say of a morning.
All I know is I'm feeling like **** this morning, and I didn't even go out last night. Maybe I should have.
I bloody hope that Suarez and Carroll can get 50 goals between them! I've got quite a few bets going with my mates about how Suarez and Carroll will do next season! I'm feeling quietly confident...
Think they'll score a good few each but couldn't bring myself to put money on them, waiting to see if Tevez stays or goes before I put any money on top scorers!
Give me a break....and you think Dirk Kuyt is not going to score in the league all season.???. Give me a break.
Mark Lawrenson believes Liverpool may have pulled off "the sale of the century" by persuading Chelsea to pay £50m for Fernando Torres. And the former Reds defender is backing Luis Suarez, who was brought in to replace Torres, to help the club qualify for the Champions League. Kenny Dalglish paid £22.7m to sign Uruguayan Suarez from Ajax in January with some of the cash raked in from the sale of Torres and has now spent more than £100m revamping Liverpool's squad in readiness for the new campaign. And while Torres has struggled at Stamford Bridge following his move to London, Suarez has wasted little time illuminating Anfield http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14217232.stm
Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll blow Schofields ''pace arguement'' out of the water. Both aren't slouches but neither are blistering. Both however given either the right space or service will destroy defenders. It doesnt matter how good the defenders think they are.We heard it all before that if Suarez was up against Vidic he wouldn't have set up Kuyts first goal. Now that is utter bullshit.Luis Suarez is a similar player in build and energy as Carlos Tevez and,Tevez has taken Vidic apart more than once. However Suarez has more skill than Tevez. There would only be one winner in that contest and its not Vidic. If Vidic thought Torres was a handful...Suarez in full flight is a completely different animal.
Vidic is the most compulsive shirt puller in the premiership,I reckon when Suarez takes the piss out of him........thats what he will resort to doing...shirt pulling.
Suarez pictured out on n early morning run. His predator cloak got helped him run around Manus defence at Anfield too, he also used his throwing disc to take out Nani, Carra never touched him please log in to view this image
