Can the rat perform in big games?

He is denied the chance to perform on the big stage such as Champions league by playing for Liverpool.

So he should be fresh for big games v City and Chelsea.

If he had to play twice a week at a big club like Real that challenges on all fronts, he would have to deliver v Barca on Saturday and Bayern on Wednesday.

It is a step up from bullying Norwich on a Wednesday night

TBH, Luis can single handedly pull pool out of mire against lesser teams. not so against better teams.

Agree. But maybe he could do it in big games if he played for a better club

Disagree. His record last season against the top sides was fantastic. I think the top defenders and midfielders are perhaps wising up to his game. He was near anonymous against City and even moreso away to Arsenal and Chelsea.

Can't see him being at Liverpool beyond next summer though.

He's still too much of a head down player and doesn't bring his teammates into play enough. That's fine against lesser defenders but not the better ones which is why only Arsenal came in for him over the summer. Wenger knows how to win the PL and he's missed a volume striker for a number of years.

Arsenal are also flat track bullies that bottle big games, so Suarez would be perfect there

Deep down you all would. Although you all claim he's a 'Flat track Bully' (whatever the **** that is). Jose would jump at the chance to sign him, if that happened all your fans would be praising the life out of him.

He's one of the only truly world class players in the PL, that's a simple fact.

P.S. Can someone name a big club he hasn't scored against? Other than yesterday, he's scored the last 2 time's we've played each other.

Could be wrong but done think he has scored v city arsenal and chelsea?

Has he found his way out of Terry's pocket yet.

World class players like ronaldo do the business in big games

Agree: drogba ronaldo Rooney van Persie Henry scored crucial goals in big games that won trophies.

Until you do that you are not in the top tier.

He may have to leave Liverpool to become a big game player at a Champions league club
