    Another day, another non story in the Echo! The headline is a lie as there's no evidence to suggest Saints actually made a bid and the article doesn't actually confirm anything relevant at all.

    But hang on, the only place i've seen the words: 'Beckford', 'Southampton' and 'transfer' together, is in a thread on not606 - so come on who is it, who's the secret Echo worker here? :emoticon-0110-tongu
