Jeez somebody has bad form and he's a "want-away player". Snoddy loves playing for Leeds and he always has.
Its not just one game, he seems uninterested when he is not involved in the action.. There was a lot of talk all summer and when interviewed he has always been honest in his ambition to play in Premiership, has his head been turned by his agent or other clubs approaching?
Snodgrass has been a ****in joke this season. Nash yeah he wants out mate it is clear. Even taking into account his natural hunchback, he looks like he couldn't give a ****
Snoddy has been off-form since his injury. Have you ever thought he just had one cracking season and isn't that good really? You are all speaking bull. Snoddy does not look disinterested, he looks out of form. You can constantly see Snoddy trying hard but not managing to pull it off. He gets stressed out with Nunez been greedy, he wants to do good, and his confidence is low and that's his problem. Anybody that watches him play can see that he nothing would please him more than to regain his past form. Do you really think a player would play bad purposely because he wasn't allowed to leave? Snoddy is one of the few players we have that if offered a move to a bottom half prem team more than likely wouldn't take it. Really nice lad is Snoddy, hard worker too.
let's see how he plays on tuesday. After that, give him a few games after. If his only good game of those was tuesday, they odds are he's a want-away
he's a winger - he's the one supposed to be providing the service! in all seriousness though - he's probably frustrated. Nothing to do with lack of a move - more to do with the lack of ambition shown by the club he loves playing for - a lot of players have been showing it in recent weeks and I don't see it as coincidence that we've had so many red cards.
Even wingers need the ball passing to them! Lees looks uncomfortable at right-back and a forward-going fella like Connolly should be there to support the attacks on Snoddy's wing. Not that goalscoring's proving to be the problem this season, but I think we could use more width if we're to put in decent performances instead of fluking wins. Nunez isn't the right man for the opposite flank, but that's a complaint for another thread.
I think now we've got Kisnorbo out for a match, Larry could do far worse than putting Conolly at right back, Lees in Kisnorbo's place alongside O'dea, and keep White at left back. Either way, training is clearly the issue. I believe the training staff issue is due to Bates not providing the money to hire a decent staff!
i've been wanting to see this for a while, thought connelly got a raw deal after a few substandard games... and lees is definitely more a centre back than full back. The way paddy's been looking this could be a blessing.
Or even just do a straight swap Kisnorbo for Bromby. Bromby is more than capable, probably better than Kisnorbo as he's still fairly young in comparison.
I can confirm that Snoddy is 100% committed to Leeds United and has not looked for a move away, but the club have made it clear to him what they are looking for and he is now perhaps showing the affect of this on the field. It's hard to be 100% committed when the people you work for don't want you anymore. Snoddy will bounce back, he's needing a few weeks to get things out of his system and then he will be back to his best.
Got to agree with Leeds-18 on this. Tom Lees can't support Snoddy on the flanks, never goes on the overlap or gives him options. We were so narrow yesterday, Nunez isn't a winger and never goes on the outside. Snoddy cuts inside and goes down the line and Gradel did the same. Connolly has got to come back in at right back though. Snoddy does look unfit though, and a bit uninterested (although that is subjective) but he does create chances even off form as shown by his assists already this season - every chance we have mostly goes through him. Lloyd Sam deserves a start on the left and would provide some width, but a player on his natural side providing proper width would be great.
Playing on their strongest side. When you have a right footed left winger or vice versa, they cut inside a lot more. Sometimes someone who hugs the touch line can stretch a defence more effectively.
He has said before he wants to be in the Premier League with Leeds before. Christ Sake, a person has an average 1 or 2 games and suddenly their wanting to leave, arrogant and need to be dropped. People are exaggerating Snoddy form, he missed 1 great chance on Saturday, he wasn't shocking. Get off his back and start supporting our boys. Anyone would think we were Arsenal fans.
