By pumping so much money into the game that means expensive foreign imports to "guarantee" success and little oportunity for home grown talent to get a look in

You hit the nail on head SIS.
Sky is killing football as (we knew it) sadly there is no going back.
    I wish!

Fully agree, there should be a foreign players limit and non of this if he's been here for x time he counts as home grown.

They tried that years ago JM...then the European Courts got unto the act.
Restraint of trade or something like that...but they had to drop the idea.

Yes my friend, it works both ways.

But the lads tried their best, they worked their socks off, it was a happy dressing room, blah blah blah
We are all heartbroken/gutted/so upset for the fans/we've let them down/....delete as appropriate.

They (collectively) are JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH. No technique, awful on the ball, can't pass etc etc...look at Pirlo - 35 years old and better than the entire England midfield put together.

And as for the Rugby <yikes>

Ah well, there is always the cricket or the Eurovision Song Contest

We would have to invent a new sport and not tell any one about it.
