With the highs also come the lows which we have`nt been used to much in the last few seasons.
The question about Rogers leaving to spurs or whoever hasn`t been dissmissed out of hand by Rogers as he did with the chelsea link something which may be unsettling the team ? At a time where we`ve lost 3 on the bounce for the first time in ages !
    Coincidence??

i think the fact that the losses have come to very strong teams, late in the season may be a bigger factor IMO.

Arsenal and Man c were expected to do us but we raised our game for them why not some of these last three ! fatigued ?, think thier past the post ?, lacking new ideas ?, Manager off soon ?. Hope they dont get in a rut . Also with the lows come the highs and the sooner the better ! We know we`ve got the makings of a great team long term so a small losing run around mid table this time of year is`nt the end of the world is it ??

thought we played really well today the only thing missing was the final direct ball into the forward players. (how id love a cisse in a swans shirt)fustrating at times but that style has got us to where we are today so no real complaints . also all our shots on goal were from outside the box! dont think the speculation has disrupted the players or manager they all completely focused imo. perhaps we the supporters have put our expectations too high after 3 wins on the bounce

Is Rogers to Spurs speculation unsettling the team ? Yes. In fact it's unsettling the Club. I would agree with Tycoch that the losses have come to very strong teams, late in the season - but the air of uncertainty is not helping anyone.

This question will seem silly if you beat QPR on Wednesday and win next weekend, wouldn't rule that out.

ANYONE WHO IS GETTING UNSETTLED HAS EITHER A SHORT MEMORY, A POOR KNOWLEDGE OF OUR RECENT HISTORY SINCE THE BUY OUT .. OR PREMIER MONEY ON THEIR BRAIN.

Brendan has blown his chance of going to Spurs this year. If results had continued to go our way then he had a 'chance' of being selected but there is no way a Champions League Chairman will take him on now. For Spurs it is purely a results game and they do not have the LIBERTY to change their system on a mid-table Prem manager. Finally we can move on.

PS Am I the only one sick of BR getting ALL the credit for the way we play! Great manager and took us on a step after the much needed defensive steel of Sousa, but he is only an employee of a club that was built on this style well before he joined.

Before this season started the majority of fans would have said give him another year even if we got relegated. Complacency is deadly. I just hope he hasn't / the players havent started to believe their own hype. BR without Swansea is like Clough without Forest/Taylor in my eyes (and he has along way to go before he can lace BC's boots)

REALITY CHECK IS REQUIRED FROM ALL THOSE LINKED TO SWANSEA ..... WHERE HAVE WE COME FROM AND HAVE WE SUPERCEDED EXPECTATIONS?

DISCO TIME WITH OR WITHOUT BR/SIGGY/CAULKLER ET AL !!!!

    IN OUR BOARD I TRUST

Spot on swimaway, speculation of BR going to Spurs should now be dead in the water. He has no plan B, when we were 2 - 0 down we were still playing as if we were 5 -0 up, as mentioned by Newcastle fans.

Shots only from long range (okay some might have gone in), no cutting edge up front but very good in our own half. Norwich, Everton, Spurs & now Newcastle have worked us out, (not hard to do).

Brendan has just said that it`s points not plaudits that matter. Let`s see what happens in the next 4, very hard games to come, QPR, Blackburn, Bolton & Wolves. Time to change tack a bit & plan the game for the teams we are playnig.

Brendan needs more time to fine tune his 'templates', as he calls them, before moving on or otherwise he might find himself unemployed again sooner than he would like.

Think it's more a combination of playing teams recently with a game plan that's worked against us, and a sprinkling of end of season jitters.
