If it wasn't relegated then we were going to need some big **** off rhyme to remember the new 200 Pluto size rocks we were finding in the Kuiper belt.
Easy, divorced, beheaded died, divorced, beheaded, survived....... Hang on.... That ain't right. I'm watching this Horizon thing on the bbc about the comet of the century. These Scientist lads are smart, but they shouldn't be ****ing about with Pluto. Earth's water might have come fae space.... Mad ****.
Webel and Tina, as the resident Not606 creationists, do you believe the earth was created as is or that the "big bang" was created or something else?
This comet of the century is looking a bit **** at the minute (as I haven't been able to spot it). And I've never understood the importance of this argument that water came to Earth from space - everything came to Earth from space at some point.
From 3rd December Mick. Head east pre dawn.... Which suits me grand. I guess the importance is that water is the most obvious and evident of the keys to our existence.
You believe in a creator right? I'm not trying to mock your beliefs just understand where the billion or so catholics in this world draw the line between science and their faith.
Now now Rebs, you know the script, this is the second time in a week I've had to remind you <WagsFinger>
I can only speak for myself but I believe in a creator, I don't believe in creationism. Creationism is a parable from a book full of parables. I'm a Catholic, not a Jehovah's Witness. There are, of course contradictory messages that have been presented over the last 2000 years but the one most moderates would probably push is that Science and Catholicism don't have be odd bedfellows. I can't quote but I can paraphrase pope Pius xii who said something along the lines of "science is ****ing ace. The more we learn about how **** went down, the more amazing God's work appears"....... Something like that.
Sorry.... I accept full responsibility. Whatever it is people think I have to say, or even what they think I might say..... Is what I would say or have said.
Belief in a god who created the earth is creationism if I'm not wrong? I suppose you don't actually need to believe the earth was created in 7 days and still believe in god but then you're admitting that a rather large part of your belief is flawed. Just sayin'
Which inspired the Craig David smash hit number one song... "When the crowd says Georges Lemaitre...re ee wind" The record company forced him to change it to some nonsense about his time choosing the implements used by the British archery team instead.
