Are we turning into Newcastle ?
First we have Bent screw us up the arse, then we let our best youngster join Liverpool, then wtf went on with Gyan is anyones guess.
We have had virtually a brand new team every transfer window.
We have also been on a disasterous run of results in this calender year and now today it emerges Bramble has been arrested.
Is this all down to Bruce ? is this the start of the downfall of our club ? What can we do to stop the rot ?
    I'm worried.

We win on Saturday, get the team standing together and get rid of Bramble, guilty or not, to be arressted is enough for me.

A tad harsh, Syd. He's clearly guilty though.

So what happens now with your defence, if you were to get rid of Bramble and with the sale of Ferdinand how does that leave your backline for numbers?

This!! He's been terrible so far this season - was good last season up to his injury but this season he has been a liability this so not bad news if he's gone IMO.

By the way - sexual assault could mean anything dfrom grabbing a lasses (or lads!!) arse to rape - I (in my younger, single days) have grabbed girls arses (and even breasts!) loads and never got done for it - but I'm not a pro footballer

It's not Bruces fault at all. I don't want Bruce as our manager but as a bloke, he will be as let down and angered as the rest of us.

Bramble has a track record for this both at the scum and here. Makes you wonder about the one he got away with the last time with his disgusting convicted brother.

    a laughing stock?

    I dont think so.

The club up the road was laughing stock cos of its owners antics, its chairman and its fans.

We are just suffering a downturn in fortunes. Henderson was sold for 20million, why would we be laughed at cos of that? Bent and Gyan were laughed at for their moves, and we got good fees for them as well.

Can't say we are a laughing stock. We as Sunderland fans hang onto everything that happens at our club. Good or bad. Apart from the Mags and to a lesser degree, Boro. Not many clubs fans really care what happens at Sunderland. The Mags are a laughing stock (now and again) to us and like I say us to them. Every club has it's Knob head, vice knob head and want to be knob head. Take Man C. Ballottelo, Tevez. Mags (was) Barton, Ranger and so on. Every so often cr*p will come out about a club which puts them at the top of the "sky/talk sh*t" scandal board. Just so happens to be us at the moment. I'm sure Ashley and co will have something lined up to steal the limelight away. A couple of wins (don't ask) and everything will be rosy again.

Was any of them going good business? will it help us climb up the table? will it be of use to us in the championship? as for downturn of fortunes, substitute shooting oneself in the foot.
