When i watched the Cardiff game, when he came on, it was a massive improvement from O'Dear. He was strong and won every header, had everything in control.

I didnt see the blackpool disgrace however i heard that he was the only one to come out of the game with any credit and played well again. Now im hearing against leicester he was immense.

So I am asking is he back to his former self?

O'brien was lively today. Very impressed with the performance of both of them, didn't allow their attackers any space, they were both composed and organised. The experience and raw defensive talent made up for any lack of pace.

Sounds like a good defensive display, cannot see us using O'Dear again for a while. I'd still expect Lees to walk back into the team ahead of one of em, probably O'Brien

On paper Lees & Kisnorbo is a very good CB pairing.
