That looks a bit like Manchester Piccadilly to me. Could be wrong but I used to use it quite a bit.

Former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has hinted he's on his way up to Sunderland

The Spanish coach has been linked with a potential move to the Stadium of Light in the wake of Simon Grayson's departure.

And tonight he's fuelled the speculation by posting a cryptic message on his personal Twitter profile.

Karanka wrote: "Next stop… *thinking emoji*", alongside an image of himself looking at the departures boards at London's King's Cross station.

His tweet has led to suggestions he's heading to Sunderland with a view to filling the hotseat vacated by Grayson last week.

Sunderland-linked Aitor Karanka has posted a cryptic message on Twitter

"Ha’way lad get yourself up to Sunderland!!" one fan replied.

"There's a delayed train from King's Cross left at 21:08 and arrives in Newcastle for 00:41am could be that one? #SAFC" another said.

One Middlesbrough supporter warned Karanka off heading to Wearside though, saying: "Don't do it. Your reputation is at stake."

And a Rangers fan called on him to head to Ibrox instead, saying: "Do not do it Aitor !!!!!!!! Please say it's Rangers."

Aitor Karanka secured promotion to the Premier League with Middlesbrough in May 2016

Karanka is free to take charge of Sunderland having been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough in March.

The former Real Madrid assistant was sacked by Riverside chiefs when Boro looked bound for a return to the Championship.

Middlesbrough ultimately ended the 2016/17 campaign in 19th position, four points and one place above Sunderland.

The Teessiders, now managed by Garry Monk, ran out 1-0 winners when they faced the Black Cats last weekend.

Hope so. By far and away the stand out candidate amongst the realistic contenders.

Of all the names mentioned he's one of only about 2-3 who would probably fit the bill approximately.

Can't help but think this would be a poor appointment for you lot.

Not even 100% sure why just doesn't seem to sit right for what you need, he's a defensive manager and your defence is ****e so not sure how much of an impact he'll have without negatively affecting the other end.

This smacks me as another Poyet. Negative, funny with money, throws his toys out the pram and won' get along with the fans.

Shir thing is there' just so little out there that he is one of the better candidates.

Well given that it's an application and interview process there'll be quite few managers popping to the AOL.

You make it sound like you've just come from a conference call with Short and Bain.

I know he's currently managing but it's a second division Belgian side and not exactly an impossible task to prise him away, if we wanted him.

Have absolutely no idea why you have such a hard on for Karanka. All of the lads that I know from Boro think he's awful yet you say he's the most outstanding candidate?
