Huth once TP brings us some silver ware he can then be decreed the greatest manager we have ever had. Until then mate he will always be second best to Waddo, despite the fact he has set many new records for us. Great win today so I'm not got to rain on that parade and congratulate him on another three points!

  4. Waddo.

Waddington managed at a time when there was not so much money in the game. In the late sixties and seventies I felt it was more about entertainment with Stoke. We had the players to do that. I remember the likes of Sir Stan, Peter Dobing, Roy Vernon, Harry Burrows, John Mahoney, Bernard, TC, Greenhoff, Ritchie, Hudson. He also had hard men and I particularly remember Bluto and Smithy, Jack Marsh, Milke Pejic to name one back line. Waddo had the charisma to bring top players.

TP has done a great job but like many others I do feel he is too cautious, too cautious. He undoubtedly grinds out results and good on him for doing so. May we all rejoice in 3 points gained as the next two away games will no doubt be somewhat more difficult. Yes TP has spent a lot of cash provided by PC but he is competing in a very different world. I hope we manage to get a central midfielder of some quality and or a left back so that Wilson can play in his correct positiion.

So to all of those who want to slate him, give TP some credit.

Happy New Year to all of you.

    Cris

I will be interested to see who he puts out for the cup game.

I WILL stop complaining if we continue to gain 3pts the way we did today. CREDIT where is is due and it still begs the question.
WHY we didn't get more than two pts from the two home games?
Today is MASSIVE because all those around us won too, even Fulham.

WADDINGTON was a fantastic man for motivating player's.... that is HISTORY of which I so, so proud.

Today? THANKS to TONY PULIS he's made me really, really proud to be a Stoke fan.
WELL done TONY and I sincerely HOPE you now get MOTM award... 17pts from 24 possible?
It just proves that IF and WHEN we go for it... it CAN work! Today, we did just that and thanks T.P. for proving me WRONG!

An AWESOME return and MORE, much MORE than I think ANY of us thought possible a month or so back. <applause>

    Happy New Year Cris

Fantastic result and fair play to TP - a decent result when it mattered to top a very solid points total - so far! Whilst the last 2 home games MAY have been dissapointing, 5 points from a potential 9 against currently lower opposition is and overall good return, so for me happy days.

Still think his attitude is shiite and he doesnt respect the fans, as proved by his latest master class of a PR stunt. Sometimes TONE, you say it best when you say nothing at all!
