Has anyone looked at permutations as a road map to victory for the top 6 drivers and top 3 teams with just six more races to go?
Suddenly a lot of the remaining races look like Ferrari territory, but things can change as quick as they already have changed! Ironically Ferrari may have to prioritise one driver though otherwise they'll be taking points off each other hunting Hamilton. Mercedes have already fully switched to Hamilton and Red Bull will obviously favour Vestappen. What we've moaned at Ferrari for now has to actually happen!
With Charles being 96 points behind Hamilton, it will take a calamity that makes 2007 look like a minor blip for Hamilton to lose the WDC this year. There are only a maximum of 150 + 6 pts on the table, so CLC has to realistically win all the remaining races to have a chance of catching Hamilton, even then Hamilton can finish 5th in every race and win the WDC regardless . This is where Ferrari screwed up by not swapping Vettel/CLC in Singapore to allow CLC to get an extra 7 points and just be that little bit closer to Hamilton, just in case!
