Chelsea have shown that this dreaded "players power" can work and bring sccess. Drog, JT, Lamp, Cashley, Czech & Co did it IN SPITE of their owner's and former manager's "vision", by winning CL the Chelsky old guard just spit Abramovich in his face.

So the question is - is it time for some players power at Arsenal? Is it time for Walcott, Song and whorever "senior" we have to refuse signing new contracts until Arsenal guarantee to keep RVP?
In that case the board will finally realize that either they invest in big names and keep their own players or they will refuse to spend and as a result loose everyone worth keeping? I think the board and the owner ( and Wenger as well) need a cold shower. Because we are at the very dangerous crossroads.

Difference is that the Chavs can hold their owners to ransom because they know they will splash the cash.
If our players did it, we'd probably end up with them all leaving.

We do have player power in Arsenal, but in reverse, at Arsenal you can be utter rubbish, and bring nothing to the team, but still be there to constantly get your pay cheque with no problems. The irony is that's what Nasri said, which is actually quite true.

What player power has achieved at Chelsea is to give them 7 different permanent managers in the last 5 years. Just because they won something doesn't make them a club which has problems.

thing is, chelsea actually have experienced players to do that. terry, lampard, drogba, etc. are all older, experienced players with footballing "wisdom". if walcott and song are our experienced players, we really do have problems...

If John Terry is the voice of wisdom in your team, you've got a serious problem, don't you?

He might be a morally bankrupt person, but on the pitch, he's getting the success is he not? Don't let facts get in the way of your arguments.

Lmao. You seriously think John Terry is the reason Chelsea managed to win something this season?

Chelsea V Barcelona - both legs - Terry was immense.
