to not want a fellow Yorkshire side to win?

Good memories of Yeovil and of Gary Johnson tilt me towards Yeovil against Sheff U.

Jesus christ, I thought you were talking about Leeds at first, and this was another of those "It'd be more exciting to do it ourselves" threads we had a few weeks back.

I'd quite like to see Yeovil do it myself. Never been a big fan of the sheffield clubs.

My view on the "1 yorkshire" thing has always been the same.

    **** them.

They still mostly don't consider the East Riding as a part of Yorkshire.

    Cmon you Yeovil!

I'd go for Yeovil as well, not just because of the promotion memories. Hinds plays for them now, he might even be their captain (he was captaining somebody). Plus even as a newly promoted club in D3 they came to away games against the top sides and tried to play football. I still don't understand how there wasn't a goal in that 0-0 we had with them at the KC. That game, and the 0-0 I saw between Dunfermline and Celtic at the start of that season are amongst the best games I've seen for open play. I've even seen us win 3-1 or 4-1 and the game have less goal mouth action.

I consider myself a very proud Yorkshireman, but I see football rivalries being beyond my love of Yorkshire, so **** 'em.
