We haven't lost more than one in a row yet, only a couple of weeks ago Watford lost to Peterborough & Millwall, yet returned with a 4-0 thrashing of Blackburn and everyone says they are the form team. We've got into 2nd place hardly scoring all season, so we must be doing something right. Bristol and Barnsley got their tactics spot on, SB needs to come up with a gameplan. Starting with Rosenior who is the nearest we have to an Ashby type attitude, replacing Elmo and try 442
Having seen us play at home against Bristol and away against Barnsley - it is bad. We have failed in 180 minutes against shocking teams to even force a decent save out of the opposition goalkeeper. My concern is the players can't handle the pressure when we had a 7 point lead - and only had to win one game against a team of duffers. We didn't. How are they going to get over the nerves of having a 1 point lead, playing the Champions, at a packed KC, potentially with SKY present? I just can't see the team capable of putting in a match winning performance, based on what most City fans have seen as evidence in the last 2 games. I'll be more than delighted if they do. I can't see anything less than Watford destroying Leeds at Vicarage Road - do our players have the balls? I'm really not convinced at all. This could potentially be the biggest **** up of a team grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory. As for making the play offs should we finish 3rd, hard to see beyond Brighton winning those.
