i am disgusted at the price tag anyway, but because I am working in Brum all day, its gonna be a last minute decision. Anyone know?
someday a football club will go too far and take the piss out of the fans too much. maybe the shameful profiteering of next Tuesday night may mean that is the day?
yer but because its closer it will probably be cheaper than Brighton was so hoping we get the support
I was at Oakwell last year and I was suprised it's a pretty good sized stadium really, they never fill it though
I love the trip to Barnsley, missed it last year because I was away (weirdly it was Halloween weekend then too) and am looking forward to it again this year!
I thought it was the promotion season that we nearly filled the away end? There were over 13,000 at that game and I definitely remember one game at Oakwell in the past ten years when we just about filled it.
didnt thalittle Irish drunk curl one in in thr last minute for a 2 - 1 win? It was pretty full that day!
was there that night but i meant a couple of years earlier. Michael Price (i think) in the last minute for a 2-1 win.
You mean Michael Keane, the short-arse Irish footballer and part time bar brawler? That was the 2004/5 season and it was a good goal, it's always nice to nick it in the last minute. Is that the one when we filled the place then?
oops. it was michael keane you are correct. Dont know if we filled it but there were plenty there! Its usually been a good turn out and i hope the profiteering knuckle draggers have scored an own goal for Tuesday. Hull City should be supporting the fans more against the likes of Leeds, Ipswich and Barnsley.
Now going, when I said I wouldn't pay £30....I feel like giving the geezer at the turnstile some attitude as the £30 slips from my grasp...But I know its not his fault..Its the boneheads in the Barnsley Board Room...Killing football they are to line their own pockets....Bankers....!
Yep an absolute beauty in the top corner he scored. Filled the end, was an absolute great game, League One was a great year for away games, so many amazing ones.
My Thoughts always go out to that young Lad 'Billy' who lost his life after he was involved in a car accident on his way to his first City away game at Barnsley a few years ago. Rip Billy, thoughts are with your family.
