Every time I click a different thread, or a different page, or attempt to post, I get this keep popping up in a dialog box: The proxy moz-proxy://44.70.80.247:3128 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://44.70.80.247:3128 Asking for a username/password. This only started happening today. I've shut down Firefox & restarted, tried supplying my own logon details etc, but this still keeps on occurring. Anyone have a clue? Title should read is it ME, not MOE
The username password thing hasn't worked properly for a while, I had to log-in using my facebook account. This needs to be addressed and then there is occasions when database errors occur and the entire system is down. The is IT problems regarding this site that need to be addressed.
its you or firefox i'd say ...this site ran **** on ff for me a few months back so i tried it on SRware Iron and its perfect. Srware Iron is basically Google Chrome but without the privacy/spying issues that go with chrome
It's been a bloody crazy day computing wise! First of all we lost our landline! Then, in mid-post the internet dropped-out. Stupid BT help said fix a hard cable to your HomeHub. I use the bloody thing wirelessly!!!! So I didn't have a cable. "Then I cannot help you" said in best calcutta accent! Then it came back at 0.5 Mg - I ask you - for Broadband!!!!. Just did a speed check and it's now up to 8.5Mg. I HATE BT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear what you're saying Hah, but it's been running perfectly for me for the last 6 months - not a single hiccup. BTW, I'm running FF6.0 Portable, directly off a ram stick.
Good call. Anyone who thinks that BT are faster needs their head examined. I run Virgin Media at home and it's one of the the fastest in the country.
Jonesy - I've personally never had any issues at all. I'm running the latest firefox on a macbook pro and it's always been perfectly fine
In the South West you're bolloxed. The fiber-optic cable runs alongside the M5 from Bristol down to Exeter. It's less than half a mile away but fat chance of getting connected to it! Well bugger them all. I was talking to some contacts in the US and they were telling me of some satellite plans for worldwide super-fast connections (over 80Mg) with a proposed retail of approx £10pm! If that comes true then bugger BT!
