Is it me or is the new kit....orange?

Just looks a lot less red than the others we've had. Is it because of the yellow lettering?

I'm in the same boat, it certainly looks much brighter than previous years. I like it like this though becasue I think a brighter red lends itself better to the new gold/yellow lettering on the shirt

 

It is a brighter red and I wouldn't be surprised if it's for marketing purposes as it's more noticeable. Not sure about the yellow though. That's not as distinct on red as white would be.

I worked for years as a colour retoucher in the printing trade so I know that lighting, photography and/or printing can easily alter the way colour comes across. I've only seen images on the net, but they do appear to be more orange than we had before.
I'm not sure if I like it tbh, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

 

And that's not to mention screen calibration. Those glasses look rose-tinted to me, which is appropriate on the day the new manager is unveiled.
