Have worked with young people who have problems with drink and because of it's use in our society and our attitude towards it the stories could make your toes curl , have also done drug awareness ( why alcohol is classed as separate I will never know ) for myself the focus was never to tell young people not to do drugs but to inform how to do things safely ( this is the official government line ) except for aerosols ( massive killer of youngsters), the other major problem is that stronger strains of cannabis has lead to a rise in the number of cases of mental illness .
Not against people doing what they want but would argue that young people need protecting against making bad decisions , very diffrent for me as a 38 year old bloke smoking pot when my brain is fully developed , to a 16 year old who's grey matter is still developing , sorry if this seems like a rant but have seen way to many kids effected by things like this

I don't think it will become a reality. Too many problems will arise from it. It does sound like a fair solution but as soon as someone young dies from any disease even remotely linked to cannabis use there will be calls to outlaw it again.
The only real solution is to legalise it and sell through recognised outlets that are supplied by reputable growers. This will ensure the strength of the cannabis. However, I suggest the legally subscribed strength will now do enough for the end user which in turn will lead them to grow their own illegally.
My younger brother is a life long cannabis user and he's a right miserable git, not sure if that's the cannabis or his genes!

its not for everyone but hey ho thats the choices thingy yeah>>>>wether they do this the samething will happen britain is growing on a major scale and let me tell you the market has never been so good.....the qaulity is top and on par with anywhere else in the world.we have the same problem here with what america had during the booze trade days of al capone.........this so called drug(herb in real terms) is being used by millions of people around the globe and im not seeing the evidence of the problems that the propoganda is stating can happen....yes u will get the odd nutter, but thats all percentages and the public can have a right scare from a minor stat if dressed up the right way.

DNA i dont take it as a rant dude, just an opinion and your entitled 2yours im open 2 what others say, trouble is the number of kids smoking weed as never been so high and its an interesting fact that the kids around my area who drink cause fking mayhem and the kids who smoke weed are just hanging around chilling and discussing thy futures and where 2 go 2 uni...........................look there will always be a loose canon in any walk of life thats what makes life interesting it aint all black and white.

taff there`s a good chance your bro is a misery by nature <laugh>......he should be happy he can afford the stuff.....................200 pound an oz is the common price now.....thats why i grow <percy)

just my opinion, i've had a few puffs at a party and cannibis is vile, dont see the attraction lol.

in this PC world we live in it will probably never happen, if it is legalised it takes away all the dealers etc, probably a good thing....if it was legalised it takes away the thrill people get of doing something illegal...

Rubber ball as I said alcohol is a big big problem have seen one young person I worked with die because of it and I wish personally it wasn't so socially acceptable and seen more as what it is a exceptionally destructive drug , people don't smoke herb in isolation it is often taken with alcohol and as you said then the real problem start , I talk to lots of drug workers who are telling me the amount of young people who are being referred for psych tests has gone through the roof and they link it to the stronger strains . Wouldn't rule out legalisation but with that there has too be money given to drug projects and proper help for anyone that needs it ( for all drugs , alcohol, herb, speed etc etc ) it's virtually impossible to get a place in rehab for under 16's , the primary drug under 18's are in rehab for is cannabis followed by alcohol , have no problem with people smoking cannabis but like anything they need to know the risks don't think there has been any long term studies done on skunk etc ( if you know of any please share as I could use it for work etc ) slightly off topic but in Amsterdam if you go over as a tourist you will no longer be able to visit any of the coffee shops as you will need a resident permits ( got lots of pissed off 16 years moaning at me that there summer holidays have been ruined , they look even more pissed when I tell them been there done that got the t- shirt and don't stop in the street where all the women have Adams apples and very big feet and hands :D)

<ok>..DNA im not shocked kids will abuse things thats what i did with my mates and we all started on the booze firstly....i was very violent on drink and started smoking for day time sanity....in the end ive jacked booze and have been using puff for over twenty years and smoking strong skunks for atleast half that time and im totally fine(shut up boys)....but im not foolish enough 2 think some percentage of users wont get some kind of health issue from it>>>>>.but thats the same with anything in this world(look at sugar) dude abuse is everything and thats down 2 the individual and what state of mind they have going into it.

dude prof nutt done a study for the government and spoke truthfully of what the teams finding where.......they didnt come out with the line the the government wanted and he called for it be made legal or atleast decriminalised......this call proptly lead 2 his sacking and lots of other fall men who only said what they learned from the study......now again the government has yes men in who will always condem so they keep an easy job of just being able 2 lie for a living.

dude i also worked with youth and im a qualified youth worker and what i took from my time with these kids is that honesty is the best policy for theyre safety>>>>.kids do open up 2 the likes of me cause what you see is what you get,im never telling them what they know is bullshit just 2 toe the line......the job i did wasnt about helping kids tbh it was more a paper excercise for government records>>>now every youth club is closed in my area and its telling on the streets <ok>...........take care DNA keep up the good work bro your important 3 them kids i tell ew >>>>.ps im off 2 dam this year for them banning reasons dude......gutted tbh but not as gutted as the dutch economy will be in years 2 come from this step backwards <ok>

cracker good man keep up the smoking dude,it knocks spots of the devils brew and your pants dry <cheers>

yep taff dude its a good trade for the criminal world 2 take up at them prices,no wonder people are taking up growing instead of the old trade route.........we would be mad not 2 grow if im honest....for one im struggling 2 afford it and two i can control the quality and the levels of chemicals going into it and cut out the dealer at the same time>>>>>>im a coco man and use as little feed as possible for its veg and flower and i only supply myself unless friends are in need but i dont take money for it i prefer the old method of sharing its much easier <ok>

binge drinking has be here since booz was first invented, there is nothing new now that what was happening years ago. there is just more broacast now thats all. its just another way and excuse for whatever party is in to fleece more money out of consumers......the same with smoking, do you know that india and japan have the most smokers per population and yet they have the highest people that live to a old age, it just another way of getting tax out of people
