http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-14279600 Could be signed soon if this is all true! Should be Goodwillie of course but can't see how to edit the header
Is he still in Malky's thoughts ? With Miller & Gestede all but signed and Graig ***an training with city is there any need?
I get the feeling with the Beller thing being on stoney ground, at the present time, this might be a goer. Only thing is the assault charge, haven't heard about that and they might hold off till it's completely sorted, I'm guessing that will now go the same way.
With Earnie, Miller, Gestede and Mason I'm not sure we will now pay £2m for Goodwillie especially if Bellers is waiting in the wings for the right moment. Craig ***an - used to play for Hull? I think we may have looked at him a year or two ago? Just checked him out on Wiki, mostly used as a wide player, not a regular goal scorer and has had injury issues. Looks like he was at Derby at the same time as Earnie and Miller. Most positive point, has played in 2 successful Championship Play Off sides, Derby in 2007 and Hull in 2008. But was nearly relegated with Derby, signed for Hull March 2008 and was at Hull when relegated in 2010. Out injured for all of last season and released by Hull this summer. Looks a capable player when fit, will Malky think he is worth a punt as we need another wide player as an alternative to Conway. and he can also cover the striker role.
Just independantly repeated your first line on another thread Blue, sorry. You forgot Parkin though! With two old heads in Earnie and Miller and a couple of younger prospects in Rudy and Mason I think mid-field needs more attention now. A couple more wide men next me thinks!
David Goodwillie set to join Blackburn Rovers after a bid of around 2.8 million pounds made for Dundee Utd striker. United get two million up front with add ons of 800k plus sell on clause @bbcjimspence Dundee Jim Spence @jimspencebbc I am a presenter/journalist with BBC Scotland.
who cares, miller and earnshaw are proven at this level, and parkin is probably good enough to be the 4th striker, providing we get bellamy again . for £2.8m he is too much for us. he's not proven at all, one good season doesnt make you guaranteed to repeat it again.
