Just watched the Norwich highlights on MOTD and I thought that the ball Howson played for Morison's goal was absolutely brilliant as well as another few balls he played. He reminds me of Cabaye who constantly plays brilliant balls, particularly the lobbed ball he played for Ba's first goal against us earlier in the season.

It's great to have a player who can pass as well as Cabaye, who, in my opinion, is one of the signings of the season.

I think cabaye might have a bit more class on the ball but i think howson puts in more of a shift. Both class players though Howson has and will continue to be a brilliant signing

Really like what I've seen of Howson and Bennett, and signing them shows that we are becoming a more attractive proposition, Howson will have know that if he didn't sign for us he would have had he choice of clubs and probably more money come the summer and ryan bennett could well look a bargain next season especially with Ayala who i think was our best CB this year. Exciting times!

It wouldn't surprise me if Adam Clayton is the next player impressing at Carrow Road.

......not sure about that Si, lambert is a snodgrass fan though and has made enquiries about him before so i can see one more leaving you for us.

It's already been stated that even if Snoddy doesn't sign a new contract we're going to keep him at least until Christmas so he can decide when he sees how we're doing. It would take a ridiculous offer for us to deviate from that plan and since you only offered £3.5m last summer, and he's got 1 year less on his contract, I don't see you getting him, however big a fan Lambert is. Snoddy's made it clear that, provided we finally show some ambition, his ideal scenario is to captain us to the PL.

How big would the offer have to be for Leeds to accept do you think?

~£6m would have been my bet, but seeing Gradel and Howson go so cheaply makes me wonder. Hopefully Warnock will be able to have some say. I don't see him going for what you offered last time though, and Bates knows this is the last marquee player we have left.

Fair enough, however much Lambert likes him I doubt we would pay that. 5 million I'd imagine would be absolute tops and even thats unlikely

What needs to be taken into account is, whatever Snoddy's real value, there is always value added on in the case of a club's best player, especially when he is the last left from a coveted group, and even more so in a case where the player doesn't have any real desire to leave the club at the time. If we don't get promoted by the summer, or are showing no signs of it by January, then I can see him deciding it's time to move on, but he's always made it clear how special it would be to captain us to promotion.

Even better comparison actually, but some of the balls that Howson has played have certainly been similar to Cabaye.

I agree value very much depends on the players willingness to leave as well as the clubs stance/ contracts etc. I imagine he will want or has been given some reassurances about the clubs ambition to make the prem if he is going to stay. Are you happy about so many players leaving during the summer? If indeed that is the case

I'm concerned. Aside from Clayton's listing I'm completely in agreement with the players placed on the list. What worries me is that as well as them we also have 2 players who could leave straight away if they don't accept there contract offers as well as others who could come under interest.
