Iv'e asked before, and seems highly rated, but seeing as we are pretty ****e in defence as of late, and Bardo still banned, so leaving the scary options of Elmo and Ricco, can we not do a bit of re-shuffling to accomodate the lad, or is he not up to it yet? Iv'e no idea as never seen him..

England Under-19 head coach Noel Blake has added Sunderland's Louis Laing for his squad for a three-game tournament in France.

Laing has received a late call-up to the travelling party for the Limoges Tournament, which pits England against France, Portugal and Ukraine over five days.

The 18-year-old, who has made a single senior appearance for Sunderland so far, replaces Liverpool's Jon Flanagan, who has been promoted to the Under-21 squad.

England will take on hosts France on Wednesday (6pm BST) before facing Portugal on Friday (2pm BST) and Ukraine on Sunday (KO 2pm).

Meanwhile Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been withdrawn from the squad due to injury, with Middlesbrough's Connor Ripley replacing him.

I think with Turner's 'serious' lack of pace, he may have to be given a chance, ready or not...

    What have we to lose?

Just don't expect Charlie Hurley on his debut!

Just checked - 7 nil against Blackpool in his first, 6 nil against Burnley in his second. Nil all in his third, I think!

This hits a raw nerve for me. I stopped watching Sunderland for several months as my protest to Brown's methods. It's the only time in 64 years of supporting Sunderland that I've ever contemplated such action.
