I understand I am about to make a very surreal statement but is he doing it on purpose to get sacked?

Last year he was given an enhanced premature contract by Niall Quinn when it wasn’t even necessary to do so therefore guaranteeing it would be expensive to get rid off him. I have no doubt he will be now more richly rewarded if Sunderland decide to sack him.

Over the last few month his logic, team selection and tactics beggar belief even bordering on ludicrous.

Cestria has even questioned his loyalty during the Derbies. I have even had the same thoughts.

Do football managers (like certain footballers) sometimes get to the point where they say sod it! Then play time until they get sacked then get a pay off and then get another richly paid job elsewhere.

<laugh> That comment really made me laugh! <laugh>

I doubt he is doing it on purpose... Completely ruining his reputation and the lack of professionalism would be unreal if he was.

I would personally lynch any manager who did that at Newcastle!

I've said on a number of occasions that I believe he is trying to engineer his own sacking. He stands to make a fortune if he is sacked and naff all if he walks.

The pressure of the job has clearly got to him and he's looking for a way out with his head held high IMO.

At this moment in time, I would like to see his head in a basket!

    Clueless idiot works for me.

    Can't stand this.

All his fault. Does he realise how he is making us feel?
