Is Gwilym Lloyd the worst presenter ever to get a job on radio?

I have made no secret of the fact that I think that Gwilym Lloyd is the most talentless twat ever to get a job on a radio station.

He can barley string a sentence together, he has no knowledge of anything he's supposed to discuss and even worse, he can't even stop himself from heavy breathing into a microphone, even when Burnsy tells him to jack it in.

I made a joke about him on CI and the BBC demanded it was removed(I did suggest inappropriate behaviour with children, so it was fair enough), but he's just had another comment pulled, just because it made reference to the first comment.

Now I accept that my first comment was inappropriate, the second reference to it was just a joke and it's deletion was completely unnecessary.

Maybe you should try to get the moderator to delete this article? Alternatively, you could just employ someone capable of doing the job they're employed for?

FAO of Gwillym or the BBC rep, as you may feel you'll get a biased response from the other mod, please feel free to contact me for a second opinion.<ok>

After listening to SportsTalk tonight I felt physically sick.

It is positively PAINFUL to listen to him.

His constant questioning, his ridiculous theories and opinions, his smug self-satisfied personality, his rude manner of asking questions and then interrupting the responder, his weasly voice, his insistance on laughing at his own unfunny witticisms.

He's the kind of guy who even on a packed bus would always be sat on his own.

this is what he said earlier this week when in a discussion with a caller on when a player is eligible for another country ...
" It doesn't matter if we're wrong , it makes a good talking point and we'll apologise tomorrow"

It's because of the Beeb's diversity policy. He ticks the 'Welsh box' and is therefore untouchable.

If Gwilym Lloyd was a singer he would be Daniel O'donnell.

    Welsh or Irish?
Don't care where he was born.
    Just wish he hadn't been.

I too had the misfortune of listening to Golem Lloyd tonight. His comments on the playoffs was classic car crash radio.

To answer your question, yes. I particularly love the way he asks for an opinion from a caller or fellow guest then within mere seconds proceeds to talk over them and rubbish their point of view. Every single time.

Having met him countless times I can also confirm if anything he's an even bigger Cnut off air.

Sadly the idiots at RH must know of our contempt for that idiot but they still continue to employ the usless tw*t.

Won't listen to that apology of a sports programme till he's gone.

Considering this article is about the BBC demanding that posts on message boards are removed, it think it's fairly obvious that they read the boards, so they can be in no doubt of the contempt in which the imbecile is held.

Just in case they haven't got the message.

Gwilym, get the **** off my local radio station, you piss poor excuse for a broadcaster. <ok>
