Is Football getting worse?

Not just talking about Celtic/Rangers here - not even talking about the SPL - just football in general

Was reading earlier about someone saying Celtic used to sign Suttons and Rangers Psro - only a few years ago and now its Lafferty and Samaras

However is it all down to the money - or is that just life?

Honestly i think even in england- the stars arent even that good IMO

Yeah Ronaldo for Manu Before he left was great - but your rooneys your lampards your ferdinands etc - they are ****e compared to Cantonas, Bergkamps etc of years gone by IMO

Is it just me that feels football on a whole is a lot pisher than years gone by? So almost as Money has increased the products got worse?

At the moment I'd say your right. Football is going through transition at the moment with money being handed around left, right & centre.

Squads grew to 50/60 players including youth players, with teams like Chelsea buying loads of talent to play reserve football!!!

Many young players coming through will suffer from 'squad rotation' & **** like that which will affect their development as the more games they play the better they will become & quicker at it!!!

With money drying up & Platini keen to curb expenditure to what clubs can actually afford hopefull we'll see this settle down & the good players spread out across the clubs, giving them more time to play & improve.

We can't attract the likes of Sutton anymore because these players are sitting on the bench Spurs, Everton etc hoping to etc hoping to get their chance in the EPL, europe.

 

Its been getting worse for ages, more to do with most teams being **** scared to play football and playing loads of big ****s to kick people or ****s that can run fast as **** although they can do **** all else.

Football's gentrification is the root of the problem. You took it out the financial reach of the working man and gave to middle age, liberal homosexuals like ST.
