i am very dissapointed with him tbh , i was looking forward to seeing him , for the money at this point no, not very good , but i hope he feels the same ,which would mean he is going to get better ......... fingers crossed against fulham to be fair they surrounded the man , with at times 4 players boxing him in, be nice to play the all in front of him but the style we play its nearly always square to him, that leaves him with no forward motion to start with.
First season still man, if at the end of next season he has been exactly the same then I will concede that the club got it wrong about it him, but so did 99% of supporters as well. We all wanted him and were thrilled by the signing. Maybe MON could take some of the blame with his tactics? If were more attack minded then I reckon we would definitely see the player we wanted, as he would be more in the game and good going forward. Bale has just scored in 6 minutes at home to Inter Milan, what a player! I've got a tenna on 2-2 at 14/1
Looking at Bale's current form its staggering to think that two years ago Johnson was rated higher :-/
2nd or third top scorer and top assists at the club?? Yeah ****e - may not look great and not be the all singing all dancing player we want but where would we be without his goals and assists?
