Massively overrated Championship player, just like Meyler.

    He's not underrated by me.

    Or more importantly Steve Bruce.

Spent more time on the pitch than any other player.

A consistently good performer and a key reason why we are mid-table.

Erik doesn't know what he's saying! Elmo has got the right flank sorted for me!

His biggest weakness is he can't use his left foot hence the third goal last week. If he's facing our goal he has to go back to the keeper most of the time because of this weakness.

Elmo is often our most dangerous attacking player and can be an outlet. My only problem is his predictability. Some games, he seems ver much like a one trick pony. He showed he can be a great player when we played Chelsea, he had the beating of Ashley Cole time and time again in the first half.

Absolutely zero variance in his play. He will try to knock it past the LB, then cross it from about 20 yards from the by-line every time he gets the ball. No tricks, no shooting, no left foot, no taking it to the line and putting in a dangerous whipped ball. I think that his work rate can be very useful for us particularly in a 3-5-2 but he does not have the technical ability to switch things up.

Our most underrated player is without a doubt Curtis Davies, he has been miles ahead.

No way, loads outside of City have said he's been class.

    Our most underrated is Rosenior.

Agree that Rosenior is a great defender and underrated by many City fans but Davies has still not been recognised anywhere near as much as he should IMO. He has been one of best performers in the league this season but most other fans will automatically think that Thudd is our best player. CD being rated by Roy behind Caulker and Smalling for England is just a joke.

Caulker is rated above Davies mainly due to age. They're both very good defenders.

Elmos a quality winger, his main weakness for me is when he's defending, often lets his man go due to poor marking

I'd agree towards the start of the season, he was the cause for most of our goals to start with. I think he's improved though, and rarely I think "Elmo, you twat."

Elmo is massively underrated IMO. His work rate is phenomenal, he seldom is beaten in the air, he's maybe the only attacking player on our team who consistently runs at speed with the ball and takes on his defender. He's our most dangerous winger, puts in some phenomenal crosses. But he's not a RB, loses his man too often, positioning is poor. Rosenior is far better at RB.

Curtis Davies is massively underrated by the national media and clearly by that dimwit Woy Hodgson. But he's not underrated by Hull City fans who have him way ahead in the MOM points tally.

I'd give it to Elmo every time. He never misses a game. Is a great team player. He and Davies are the two players who I'd hate to see missing from our starting line up. I like Rosenior but its not even close.

I'd argue that Elmo has been our best player this season aside from probably Curtis Davies. He is a constant threat on that side and some of his crosses are absolutely first class. The problem in the first half of the season was we had no one making good runs in the box to get on the end of them, Sagbo's movement in the area is non-existent, so was Danny Graham's. Now we have Jelavic and Long who are both good in the air and can get on the end of his deliveries

If Elmo is underrated then Aluko is overrated. I hope he can prove me wrong but I dont see what he offers

Elmo is one dimensional. So it works and sometimes it doesn't. Not consistent enough imo.

Curtis Davies is our most underrated. He should be on his way to Rio imo.

I'd agree. From what I've seen, Aluko is nowhere near the player he was when he first came. Injury/confidence? Match-fitness?

He was awful the first half of the season, he couldn't put in a decent cross to save his life. But this year he has been much better. No idea why the change or why he was so bad before.
