Yes or No
not sure just yet, should imagine questions will be asked soon why we have 3 strikers who are championship standard( in my opinion) when we are suppose to be playing cl. big month for brendan i should imagine, if its same old ****e, then not long, but if he somehow turns it around who knows, bit worried he wont be given any money for jan though.
Wheres the "a managers job is always on the line, they live and die by the results they get and Brod is no different. He's not under threat just yet but it could easily turn that way if he doesn't start winning soon" option?
I do too, but only if we changes things. At the moment, he's persisting with the same tactics, players etc. The whole structure needs to change.
Anything less than 3 points at Palace and a win away at Ludogorets and he'll be under massive pressure
For the sack probably, but he'd be under massive pressure if he fails to get results in both of those fixtures
Agreed that he has definate flaws that he needs to work on. I don't know whether one of the reasons he played the same players again yesterday way to see how they responded to the midweek performances. Probably just wishful thinking on my part. The annoying this is that we always moaned about the chopping and changing in defence, and now he seems to be trying to settle on a line-up, we all think it's the wrong one!
He has a run of "easier" premiership games coming up. He will come under pressure if he does not win most of them. This job is about results and if they are not good then I can see him being let go by the owners. Suarez leaving is an excuse up to a certain point. But then Suarez did not go to a premiership team. Southampton do not have him, nor do Chelsea or any other team above Liverpool. And Rodgers had a decision to make regarding replacements: fewer quality players to maintain last season's momentum or more mid range players to stregthen the squad. He chose the latter and the players he's bought had not had any postive impact. The match against Palace is massive. We NEED to get 3 points. Sturridge or no sturridge, there can be no excuse. Not getting 3 points in that match would mean that there is no match we could say "Thats 3 likely points for us". Rodgers' D Day is Away to Palace.
FSG are ruthless in their approach - as you say, a couple more poor results and I really wouldn't be surprised if they sack him. And if they do, I hope they go back to the DoF structure.
I dont think he'll be sacked, not this season anyway. We are missing 80% of our goals from last year. this season was always going to be tough, think we see a different pattern of results in the new year.
Absolutely,he must be given the rest of this season to sort this. Sturridge back will be one positive, and the Jan. window will be an important one. We are still in four competitions remember
How have you worked that out? We scored 101 goals last year, SAS got 52 between them. I'm no mathematician but that's not 80%, it's 51.5%
