Listen to us discerning QPR fans, deliberating over the aquisitions of potential signings come January or even next season.

It's absolutely hilarious, or even more than that ...surreal.

A little over 12 months ago we were all anxious to know if the likes of

Rob Hulse, Tommy Smith, Peter Vaagan Moen & Ishmael Millar among others, had signed for us ( Either on-loan, or otherwise. ) before the dreaded transfer deadline. ( I may be slightly out on the time-line, but you get my drift. )

    Roll on twelve months.......

The players that have been linked with us....

    Joey Barton,

    David Beckham,

    Peter Crouch,

    Traore, ( Bless him )

Dimitar Berbatov, ( I'm guilty on this one. )

    and now .......

    Nicholas Anelka!!!!

amongst the many others, that we would of welcomed with open arms 12 months ago.

We now have dissenters in our midst, saying ...'' No, not good enough for

    The Rangers.'' etc etc etc

Me included. ( Btw, I don't get the Puncheon fixation. )

I think it's hilarious and often have to pinch myself.

Other than Messi, or any other Barca, Man.U or Citeh employee,

Is there anyone out there fit to wear the hoops?

Hey, I wasn't linking Anelka, just suggesting it might be worth a cheeky bid!!

Yes, great isn't it. I saw a comment on the latest CB rumour saying 'Please let it not be Torres'.

The fans are reflecting the owner's ambitions - he aims high and who are we to discourage him?

It is amazing, but let's not get carried away. Some people make some very unrealistic suggestions as to who we should go for, but on the next thread it becomes gospel.

We have done amazing business with who we've signed so far and this will go a very long way to encouraging others to join in January and subsequent transfer windows. But as has been proved before, what we as fans think and what Warnock thinks are 2 different things.

But it is hard not to get carried away isn't it. I wonder how long before we can put a bid in for Messi?
