Is anyone getting a litle worried about this Enrique situation?

No, how many rumours in last 18 months have actually come true when regarding us, not many if at all

 

Not really it's all rumour and speculation from a less than reliable media. He made it clear he's waiting for us to get to the 40+ point mark before he starts contract negotiations.

 

This one seems to be lingering around longer than Tash's hatered towrads everything Gutierrez.


And this has Andy Carrol saga written all over it. I really hope I'm just paranoid!

 

Once we're mathematically safe, if he doesn't sign a contract pretty soon after that, i'll be quite worried.

However, he's not bigger than the team. Lets concentrate on survival first.

 

This is football, it has been made clear that negotiations would not begin with Enrique until the club are statistically safe.

Until then Enrique will still remain a newcastle united player.

I've actually praised Gutierrez recently, and have eaten humble pie about it in public. He's actually been good these last few games.

When we're mathematically safe (Touch wood) then we'll see, he said nothing will happen until then, so if it does then the media are obviously just stirring, and if not it's pretty obvious he's on his way, so not really that worried... yet.
