I think even Matth struggled to get excited at the news we weren't selling Young. Absolutely - precious point making panic buys in January as you are as likely to end up with a Torres or Carroll as a Vidic or Evra. Waiting till the end of the season will tell us more about the squad, and who will actually hack it when the going gets tough in April and May.
