Multiple times over the last week I've had access suspended saying server use is too high (or similar) It prevents you from browsing any threads What also baffles me is that it also says 'logged in members never see this message' So WTF is going on ?
Its really getting on my tits, whatever I try it keeps ****ing coming up. (Ha it happend then when I try to post this!)
Glad I'm not the only one, but it is ****ing annoying, especially when it's only supposed to affect ****ing guests !
Server load is too high so 'Guest' viewing has been temporarily disabled. Please register or log in to view the site. Logged In members never see this message. ****ing thing
Simon I've just Repped you because I was only 8 above you and want to see how many you get for each repp
It is to do with space warp contnuuum and plasma drive being overloaded by excessive proton emissions from the sun, causing drainage on the right hand flux capacitor bank, in an effort to balance the system............operatives need to spend more time outside absorbing the proton threat.........lol
So do I but it's happening multiple times already today It will drive people away from posting if this continues, myself included. There's nothing more frustrating than this
I' ve never had a problem with it.. but have seen the occasional message when not logged in... or pushed save after an edit and nothing happens but opening in another screen shows the edit has been saved, so go back and delete the other board
I have had it once about a week ago. I normally stay logged in, so just logged in again and been fine since
27 attempts to get in this morning. ****ing ridiculous. Wize - Can you please get the super mods to take a look. This is happening at home, work, and on my Blackberry and its driving me insane !!!!!!
I've been having the same problem regularly as well over the past couple of weeks. Just logged in again but have been randomly logged out on a regular basis for some time now.
Lads there have been request going in for days, Supermods/Site Administrators/Owners, no answers are coming back..... I copied this off of the Mod Board for your perusal, it's the best I can do.... ' Default - Maltese Mick (Owner) I've been trying to work on the session issues this morning - the database hasn't been playing ball over the last few weeks, getting very stressed when we haven't even got much traffic, etc. My problem is the thing is that big (about 8gb) that every time I try to do something with it it takes about 2 hours, which causes 2 hour downtime - and it's a bit of trial and error whether the changes will actually work (fingers crossed my changes this morning worked - although as I write the CPU stats don't look great). Anyway I'm going to be moving us over to a completely new server at the weekend (my missus is on a hen do and I'm home with the kiddies all weekend, so have plenty of time). Moving to the new server I will be updating to the FINAL version of vBulletin 4, which may (probably) cause a few issues which will need ironed out over the next few weeks. I need to move to the final version so that I can be sure that none of the problems/hacks etc can be caused by having older software, although I've custom modified the site so much that it takes quite a bit of effort to move versions. Moving to the new server will allow me to start fresh with updated software (newest PHP, newest MYSQL etc) which should hopefully also give performance increase. ' Please persevere with the site, it's the best I can do......wiz..
