I've just had a look on the interactive seating plan for the Walsall game. Even with half the ground closed off there doesn't seem to be many tickets sold. Just out of interest is anyone else on here going?
Thats a plus then mate, hardly any of the Lower Loft has. I thought we might be heading for our lowest ever crowd.
It really is a waste of time that competition these days. Even as a Championship club we were about 10k down on our league attendance against Brighton for the 1st Round game despite it being the opening game of the season for us, a big away following, and moving the game to a Saturday 3pm rather than playing midweek.
I know it's a nothing game, and I quite enjoy them. A few beers and then watch a game of football without all the usual distractions and pressure. It reminds me of when I used to go and watch the combination games in mid-week many years ago. You could just sit there and focus on the football and see how the non first team players are developing. It will be good to see how Bosingwa does. He should be a class act. I will be watching him closely to see how good he can potentially be for us. I'll pretend I'm scouting him and will file my report tomorrow evening.... A-la rangercol style.
No, why should i take it seriously if the club or the players cannot be arsed to do the same? Id go if i lived locally but Im not doing all that travelling only to get pissed off at the players.
I'm going with two sons one of whom has invited six of his mates since only £15 to watch what will hopefully be a lively game. I think many, like me, are saving the booking fee by buying on the night since it won't be sold out.
We would have gone but are away in cornwall at the moment! Looking forward to following the score though!
I'm going - with the team in transition, I'm looking for signs that the players start to develop an understanding with each other rather than playing as strangers. It's an interesting time on the pitch at QPR at moment. MH has said he won't put out Team B, so can't say fairer than that
I am going to watch my local team tonight Stevenage v Southampton Should be a good game, but I will keep listening out for Rangers
I'm Going, these are usually frustrating games, i must be a sadist or is it the other word i can't spell
This. Walsall at home spending £10 or going to two away matches spending more than a £100. Decision makes itself really. Plus it's a laugh with mates.
