So last weekend West Brom got a 1-1 draw at Liverpool and 'Big Sam' is being touted as the new hero.

A few days later they get walloped 0-5 at home by Leeds (which is also Allardyces biggest ever home defeat as a Manager) and straight after he's calling for a Covid break because of the possible health risk it could predominantly pose to him at 66 years old.

Call me cynical, but the bloke took what is presumably a very very lucrative job at West Brom in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, and when the more contagious strain of Covid had already been identified.

And after a massive home defeat he now wants football to take a break ?

I think he is right, I think the game under present circumstances is fast becoming unsustainable, why wait until we have the first death caused by allowing 22 men kicking a leather bag of wind around?

Mr Allardyce and WBA can afford to put in place far reaching infection control measures that put risks to himself below that of the general populace. His age means the clubs risk assessments and measures should differ v that of his players. Mr Allardyce does not have to be in close proximity to his players to Manage them.

I seem to recall that Allardyce underwent heart surgery in the past, so that undoubtedly puts him at a much higher risk level.

I am sure Man City and several other premiership clubs have similar if not better infection control measures but like BCFC have fallen foul. The big question needs to be how did this happen? let me offer up one possible reason, overpaid footballers who like other rich and famous people believe that the restrictions only apply to us plebs because "they are considerably more wealthy than YOW".

Given the history of last season when the season was suspended, the only thing it would buy him is getting injured players fit again and as we know to our cost that didn't help us one jot, we were crap going into lockdown and that crapness continued for the last 9 games of the season.

And judging by the lack of progress from Messrs Williams and Walsh, even a long lockdown might not prove long enough.

I am not enjoying watching football at present, it lacks quality and excitement and the players are looking absolutely wasted physically, because of the timetable of games and yet still we allow TV to dictate dates and timings of games, health wise I think this might prematurely end some careers, I personally don't think it's a risk worth taking anymore, that is just my opinion.

I thought it was quite fitting that after visiting his Mother despite us being in full lockdown earlier this year, and then being caught hosting a sex party with whores soon afterwards, that Kyle Walker returned a positive test for Covid last week.
But what started with Cummings disobeying national steer to stay home, and has since been abused by the likes of Jack Grealish (of course!) Rita Ora, Kay Burley, Knickerless Virgin, Jezza Corbyn and others, just proves that it's one rule for them and another for the rest of us.

Young testosterone driven males represent differing risks - Mindset and indifference/stupidity etc should be assessed and controlled. This will not be full proof. People will be people, we are all wired differently, people being blockheads is inevitable .. Our responses also have to reflect this.

Mr Allardyces risk can/will have differing control measures. He does not have to be in close proximity to his players to Manage them. You can coach metres away. Mr Allardyce and his club should control the inherent (blockhead) risk appropriately.

Managers whining about timetables is an excuse. Yes football has never been busier but in England squads reflect the money (billions) TV puts into football. Managers and their support staff can predict burn out and some injuries, they have a duty of care to their player to protect them and that TV money gives them squads to do so. Soft tissue injury, fatigue .. Rotate the squads bloated with tv money.

To be completely factual it actually started with Neil Kinnock's son and daughter, who thought it was ok to both drive a 300 mile round trip to deliver a birthday cake and a curry to their father.

But of course the scumbag media gave them an easy ride because of course they are fellow lefties.

I can't argue with a lot of that but in the grand scheme of things football is never going to be as important as life and sadly, life to some people means just them and f*** everybody else, we are undoubtedly back where we were at the start of this pandemic because of these people and chances are we will still be in the same position in 12 months time because the same selfish twats will carry on with the same selfish behaviour.
