In some ways I hate to set some of you off again. In other ways he practically got us up single handed a few years ago. Nobody else wants him. Could he do it still at this level? Sorry again
Its not the case of being good enough.... Really cant wait for him to leave the club will be party at my house
Yep probably good enough for the Prem but has to show commitment and passion and whilst I don't doubt that all of this has been just his fault, he has been far from blameless
I can't wait for the pr1ck to leave our club (and I was one of his biggest fans). He has totally disrespected us by refusing to get fit and obviously was one of the bad eggs at the club. If he could have been arsed he could have made a difference. Unforgivable.
Time to get rid - Way too much talent - in his head Way too much money - in wages Way too much effort required - this is not a frigging nursery, time to run this show properly. An absolute complete waste of talent who has bitten off his nose to spite his face, unfortunately so badly advised and he took it
I'm a great fan of Adel but he lacks commitment and a work ethic. As Ciarrai says, he must surely be one of the bad eggs. We need a fresh start, not least in terms of team spirit and attitude, and I doubt that this would be achievable with Adel in the squad.
Who cares he's not going to play there, at least not for QPR. Free transfer or cancelled contract this summer. He should be ashamed of himself for wasting so much time and talent, but management at all levels of the club should be equally ashamed for neither turning him round nor getting rid.
I agree with Stan. There is dual responsibility for his fitness levels. Harry moaned he was 3 stone overweight but he forgot that he and his coaches were responsible for getting him fit to play. Both the coaches and Adel failed miserably in that regard. Regretfully, it is time to say goodbye to somebody who has given me great pleasure over the years.
Neil Warnock was the only manager who got the most out of him on a consistent basis; though he had to wrap him in cotton wool and keep the hardened journeymen from letting him know about it on and off the field. That said, I loved those days - every match singing 'Taarabt's too good for you' and 'we're top of the league, we're top of the league, we're Queens Park Rangers, we're top of the league'. Great, great days, if only we knew what was ahead. It's been downhill (in terms of league positions) since beating 3-2 Stoke City at the Britannia in November 2011.
Ha, brilliant. That, 'bitten off his nose to spite his face' comment with the comments that preceded it is brilliant irony. Very witty!
Can only happen at QPR................a player with his talent only starting 2 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He and the whole club is a joke!!!
I have been sick of hearing about Adel being our saviour for years now, the sooner he goes the better
Great talent but not worth his wages in the Prem and definitely not in the Championship. He's not even worth putting up with for the benefit of talent - we'd get better from a kid released by a top club with a bit of flair. Most skillful player I'll probably ever see in hoops but we need to get away from him.
Waste of space & not worth even contemplating he deserves yet another chance to play for us. Second out the door after Wright-Phillips.
I've been a massive fan of Taarabt, but it is time for him to leave. None of us know all the facts but I'm sure he hasn't wanted to play for us this season. The management must also take some blame for letting this situation continue. Fantastic memories but time to say goodbye.
