We are a bit unorganised Gents. We need to get ourselvees organised.

    Things to discuss'

    1. Make sure we all have tickets, if not, who can we help.
    2. Travel plans/hotels etc.
    3. Pubs for a pre match pint and a bit of grub.

    I'll start;

    Match Tickets
Most people I know are being helped to obtain their tickets. If anybody needs help, let us know here and we'll see what we can do.

    Flights/Hotels
As usual, we are all travelling to different airports. Some to Luton, some to Stansted, some to Gatwick and some to Heathrow. Heathrow is the best but most expensive. Then again, at this short notice, they are ALL expensive now. For advice on hotels, I would say stay away from the Wembley area and Central London as the prices are already sky high. I would recommend looking at airport hotels as close as possible to your departure airport. If using Gatwick, Croydon for example is quite reasonable for hotel and close to the airport. I am doing a day trip via Luton. Others I know are doing day trips via Gatwick and some via Stansted.

    Pubs
We have a few feelers out for pubs. Somebody has recommended the Green Pub in Willesden Green. They say it is family oriented and does decent grub and is a 7 minute tube ride to Wembley Park on the Jubilee line. They have offered to contact the pub to make sure we will not have to share with Derby fans. We won't know till Monday if that pub is available. If not, we have a back up pub organised in Kingsbury which we know will be entirely QPR fans only.

    Please discuss lads & lassies.

I presume non-Irish QPR fans would be welcome in the pub, Fing :)

Cheers Finglas for this, we needed someone to take the lead. I am travelling from Cork Airport getting into Stansted at 9:40am and my return flight is from Heathrow at 10:15pm. Staying in Cork that night so can have a pint or two (or three or four...........). Really looking forward to it and the party atmosphere before and hopefully after.

Hennessys Pub in Kingsbury which was to be our number two choice have contacted David Brennan from the facebook page and they are making a big bid for our business.

They are offering, QPR videos on the big screen.

Free buffet food, not just finger food.

A free band in the nightclub upstairs.

They are open from 9am. I could be there from about 11.

The pub is right beside the tube station and one stop to Wembley park on the jubilee line.

    What do people think?????

Flying out from Dublin @ 8:15 arriving in Luton @ 9:25, home flight is @ 20:25 from Luton.

Will be buying tickets on Friday, I have two memberships so if any one needs help on Saturday I would be glad to help.

That pub in Kingsbury sounds good, always good to see someone fighting for a bit of business

The Kingsbury pub sounds good to me Fin. As Drog said, nice to see they are willing to put on a bit extra for us. Perfect position too. I'll put it to my lot

There will be a free buffet in Hennessys if people want to go there? Brunch whilst watching some QPR dvd's. What more could a man ask for?

We'll have to get a sing song going, I think there are at least 15 of us on that flight.

I'm flying in and out of manchester if anyone is still booking tickets and is a cheapskate like me, even with £80 train fare it's a good bit cheaper than london - flight going back to dublin 2300hrs, means getting to euston by 7.30 at latest though, could end up in hotel if it goes extra-time/pens....

Hennessys pub in Kingsbury is confirmed.

They are laying on a free buffet upstairs especially for us, sandwiches, chicken drumsticks etc. They are having a free band and will play QPR dvds on the big screen.

They have requested we give them approximate numbers of people going so they have sufficient food.

Everybody is welcome so please confirm here if you are going and numbers of people you are bringing with you. Thanks.
