Earlier in the season it was mooted that we should all arrange a meet up for a televised game somewhere handy for most people to travel too.....well as the Premier League paymasters have decreed that the Wigan game has been moved to the sunday 7th April how about it or should we just stick to our parish council meeting in Waterford or Enniscorthy?

    Thoughts?

Fair play to you for asking Tramore.

I did ask this question on the Irish R's facebook page and got a very muted response.

I proposed the away game at Fulham, Easter Monday, kids on school holidays, 59 euro for a room for two in Jurys Inn Parnell St and I offered to arrange a pub in Dublin City Centre and I still got a very muted response.

For me, an away match that is live on TV is much better than a home match.

I would also like to see some of the lads from here pop over and join us for a few pints and a bit of Irish hospitality. It has been suggested before but we never manage to arrange it. I think at this atage, we just need to grab the bull by the horns and arrange it. It doesnt have to be Dublin, it could be anywhere in the country. Maybe we should all head down to Enniscorthy or Waterford and stay overnight?? I like that part of the country. Galway is quite nice too.

I'm all ears if anybody wants to make some suggestions.

I would be up for a meet in either Dublin, Enniscorthy or Waterford for the Fulham match on the 1st April.

Just thinking ahead, does anyone know when the 2013/2014 Championship Season kicks off? - as I will be over for a wedding in Kildare on Friday 16th August and we could get an early doors meet up for next season organised as well if we have a game on Saturday 17th August:angel::redface:!

I couldn't commit until closer to the time. Long way for me to travel from the SW. Now if Swords was going I would definitely go...............I would bring my hard hat though.
