Nah they know it's tomorrow. They're all talking about it though and explaining how it's such a great day because of the Irish connection to Liverpool. Yawn
They invented a beer that is also a food, so you can go on the piss all weekend without needing to eat. They also had the good sense to have Paddy’s day coincide with the Cheltenham festival, so any Oirish winners can be celebrated with extra gusto.
There used to be a big parade through Prestwich and into town via Cheetham Hill in Manchester for Paddy’s Day. Not sure if they still do it. Quite surreal watching literally thousands of Irish people on floats celebrate through the ethnic ghetto that is Cheetham Hill.
