0-0 but great game to watch. Defence immense, midfield great, forwards lots of effort and as for Kayembe's final attempt at goal :emoticon-0102-bigsm

A very good performance with the same players that were here before Tom was put in charge.

If that effort by Kayembe had gone in, what sweet revenge it would have been for their late winter at the Vic...

Decent result and after Bachmann made some good saves we were certainly in the game 2nd half .

Almost nicked a win too !

The same against Saints and a win against Blunderland and we will be reasonably happy

I'm definitely not underestimating you ahead of tonight's game! You always seem to have the Hex over us in season's gone by apart from our fortuitous win at your place in December of course. I know you haven't got too much to play for now which makes you even more dangerous! There will be plenty of goals tonight that's for sure!

See post No 4 on this thread for our super tipster. :emoticon-0103-cool:

Five games, three clean sheets, one win and two others we should have won

Watford become only the second team to stop Ipswich scoring at home this season as they defend doggedly and with great discipline to make it five unbeaten.

TC after the game: I’m really proud of that performance. Every single player. They showed pride in the badge. We said in the dressing room there are fans going from Ipswich on Tuesday to Southampton on Saturday, and we needed to give them everything

Should probably respond to this myself with "Moaners all gone?"
The regular Moaning Minnies are strangely absent...

    Thoughts on MOTM?

    Watford FC say this
    upload_2024-4-11_11-38-33.jpeg

I thought Hoedt and Porteous were excellent too...as was Bachmann

    Everyone worked very hard

Chakvetadze looked very promising too if some of his last balls were erratic

He did receive plenty of praise on social media for his performance - and that's where his fiercest critics normally hang out.

He did play well though, possibly his best performance in a Watford shirt. After a few starts he's starting to show what Aberdeen saw - that he's a solid, dependable defender. Given the right sort of service from both wings, he'll prove to be more than a handful in the opposition box too. Sadly, at the moment, we don't seem to have anyone who can put a decent cross into the box for him on a regular basis.
