A huge, huge game for us this Saturday with the visit of fellow strugglers Peterborough Utd. I can see plenty of goals in this one so long as we score more than they do. I watched them against Blackburn last week and they were pretty god damn awful as well so that's 2 teams low on form and confidence.

    Ipswich 4 - 2 Peterborough

    DJ, DJ, Murphs, Smith

    My Starting line up:

Loach, Orr, Chambers, Smith, Cresswell, Edwards, N'Daw, Coker, Martin, Murphy, DJ

With a bit of luck that other results go our way we could be out of the bottom 3 come 5pm on Saturday!

    A must win game?
To survive we will need to take points off the teams around us.
    Will go for 1-0 Town
Would swap Reo for Hyam in your team, JET for Murphy.
Why did you put Chambers ahead of Higgs? Would switch that too.

More than a "6 pointer". 3-1 town. Dj with a couple and Martin with the other. And hopefully Leicester turn over Wednesday and out the bottom 3 we go.

We haven't scored more than two goals in any match this season, can't see it changing this week. Sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Well San Diego I feel this is our week to break that one. We will concede, that's almost a given but just for once it'll be a veritable goal fest for the PR faithful.

I think we'll struggle to a 1-0 win, we need a serious clear out of dead wood before we move on to greater heights.

I said we'd get turned over last time and I was bang wrong.

So I'll say it again. 26-1 to Posh. Positive goal difference here we come!

I'm not too sure about this one, both teams are dreadful (currently) but can both put in a decent shift (occasionally) so I'm going to go for a repeat of this fixture last season and say that it will be:

    Ipswich 3 - 2 Peterborough

    DJ, Smith, JET

Dont know about score but we NEED a win. A defeat/ wobbly performance would be a major concern.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us put out an attacking side in a different formation. I get the impression Mick might be trying to change the system slightly as we aren't particularly balanced. I'd love to see us go for it with a 4 3 3

    Loach

    Chambers Higgs Smith Cresswell

    Hyam N,Diaw NRC

    Chops DJ Jet

But then I think it's just wishful thinking and Mick will stick with his 442 and only make one or two changes.....

To be honest King that formation would scare the life out of me and suggests hoofball!
The midfield 3 looks strong defensively but not much else. Chambers wouldnt add much width or attacking instinct. JET and Chopra are lazy as hell.
If you wanted to go with a strong midfield then surely you have to play Edwards at full back and Martin instead of Chopra (what a said statement to make - replace one uselessly annoying tosser with another one) to add some semblance of attacking style.
