Hey all. Apparently we are the featured game saturday! yay! Also, the game is meant to be streamable. Any links, and is it?
Just looked on wiziwig for Saturdays schedule and there is indeed an "Ipswich v Leeds" link set up, suggesting that there will be streams available on the day.
I think it's fair to say that it is solely due to Leeds stature and the media falling over themselves to big them up and show them at any opportunity. I said at the start of the season the only matches we're likely to be shown on telly would be against Leeds or Leicester and it seems to be the case, but I shouldn't complain, now we have to go and put on a performance and get the 3 points.
Welly, I have never used " wiziwig ", is it straight forward, go on Google, find it and watch, like Firstrowsports? That seems down at the minute. £32 is a ridiculous price for the club to try to con people with. I heard somewhere, half the reason for Boro's ridiculously poor attendances, is there are loads of pubs near the ground that show every home Boro game. Not sure how true that is.
I'm in the same boat as you westie, never used it before. I would like to know if there is anything dodgy about it?
Been using wiziwig for a couple of years, always found it better than firstrow. http://www.wiziwig.tv/index.php?part=sports Using it at the moment to keep an eye on the Test Match!
Firstrow isn't so much down, as blocked from the UK, you can still get on it by using a proxy though.
Ahhh right I see. It's got to the point, where every Premiership game is now shown on a streaming site. Also, that woman won her legal case for her pub to show a foreign tv package in a pub, showing all of the English games. I just think, with internet speeds getting quicker/quicker/quicker, and more streaming being available, whether football could very quickly turn into the music industry? I'm sure people remember Napster/Kazaa before I-tunes came around for a legal download. I would imagine not too far into the future, viewers will be able to pay for a specific game to watch.
NowTV. As far as I'm aware that's only Sky Sports but it's a step closer. I wouldn't be complaining though, living so far aware from PR means I don't get to go to too many games, so being able to watch any game online woud suit me fine. In fact, I don't see why Ipswich Player doesn't offer that I would certainly pay for that.
Virgin Media now give BT Sports free on their XL package. No championship games, but plenty of Prem games, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1. At last I can watch the mighty Hellas Verona! And The Clare Balding show. Can't miss that...
Portman Road in the aftrnoon, beer festival in the evening.....Apparently no footy shirts at the beer festival.?
Welly! When I click on your link I get: "Sopcast seems to put channels offline again, but if you connect early you can keep it running (don't disconnect). If you get offline message then use other channels listed!" None of the other channels work. When I click on Ciderman's link my Kaspersky Internet Security blocks it with a trojan warning!!! F*****g hell!!!
Hideous panic over. I've just seen Hampy's link on the other thread! That one works, apart from the ad in the middle of the screen that won't go away and weird music in the background.
