Two very average teams and regardless of the scoreline will get 20 seconds of highlights on Football League Show, I'll say 2-2 and a half decent game with some shakey defending and poor passing. I'd love to see us thump them though

Have to say I think it will back to normal....us playing poorly & throwing it away late on.....2-3...

Was pleased for PJ last week getting a result but for me he & the team are still playing sunday morning park football...

Andrews again!

They sounded all over us in the first half and Lee-Barrett apparently kept us in it.

Since the second I’ve been listening on that Ipswich iplayer website commentary and it’s been a bit better, as far as you can tell.

Rhodes got four today, and the two in the first half were from Gary Roberts crosses!

Yeah but he's not proven at championship level so wouldn't be worth the risk!! Don't see what all the fuss is about!!

I wasn't saying we should sign him back - merely commenting on what ex-players were up to.

Murray scored today as well.

JJ I was merely being sarcastic!! Good win today. Sounded like Bullard will be pushing for a start, played well when he came on. And Jewells tactics worked for a change!! Still a long way to go and it will take a long time for things to fall into place, but there are signs there that it may not be a bad season. Well done to ALB.

Rhodes was never given a chance to prove himself form what I remember, mainly substitute appearances. Scored against Cardiff, a very accomplished finish too.

Has obviously come on leaps and bounds since then, why the f***ing hell didn't Keane have the sense of loaning him to Huddersfield with some sort of option to sign for a certain fee if we still felt he wasn't needed at ITFC.

Perhaps he wouldn't be as prolific in the Championship, still a crying shame to let such a talent go.

Clean sheet and 3 points today though, will take that!

Egg on face for me today...more than happy with that.
If you were at the game today you would have seen that was our best performance for weeks...!

Apart from a couple of very decent saves from ALB in the 1st half we were untroubled at the back especially in the 2nd half...(for a change)
Sonks was back to his normal best and Collins & Andrews were awesome...note to PJ, please make sure these 2 are our priority targets in January, without them we are in a relegation dog fight for sure.!

Confident and assured performances from almost all today, for a change our substitutions worked for us.....well done PJ...please keep it up...!

Good news, Hoppers! I got the impression from Sky that we were being hammered again in the first half.

As for the loanees going home, we can only hope the meeting with ME and Andrews’ agent on Monday goes well and the increased confidence about the place shores things up a bit when one or more of Ingi/Smith/Delaney/Ainsley have to be relied on again in front of the keeper.

Only two and a bit weeks until we can bring players in. They’re going to have to do some substantial and pretty astute business in that window, and the next one after that!
