The start of a run of 4 really tough games that will probably define where we will sit in the overall standings in this league. A bit too early still to write off our chances even if we lose the next 2 home games but 2 home defeats this week will certainly deal a huge blow to our confidence and prospects for the rest of the season. I honestly believe that Wolves on paper will be the easier of the 2 games and I am going for a scrappy 2-1 home victory for Town. This is based on Mick getting the best out of his team and instilling the motivation into his players to put one over his old employers. He will have done his home work on preparing for this game that's fore sure. A very difficult week coming up but I will go for a win against Wolves and a draw against our Bogey team Watford on Saturday leaving us on 28 points next Saturday evening! TOWN 2 Wolverhampton 1 TOWN 2 Watford 2
v Wolves 2-1, v Watford 1-1....good performances first 2 games......the next two, hmmm. I am def going to pick some Cherries. MM managerial level? In general I would say he is at his peak just about with the players & cash he has at his disposal. ie Good, but not a marvel. Am I happy with him and enjoying this season so far cf last 4? Most definitely
Nice one Warky! That does remind me in a funny way of some of the good old fashioned games we all used to muck about at - playing Marbles, dominoes, the village whist drive....kept us off the street! All this gaming online is beyond me....no soul, no people, no real laughs, no sense of community - we got footie tho!
Difficult games particularly with an injury list mounting. I hope Hewitt and some of our wingers are given a bit more of a chance
Agree with ITFCPTC. I think without Bishop/ Williams we could struggle - that said I'd imagine we'll be 4-4-2 again. 1-1 though due to injuries, prove me wrong !
Agree there, but a strong head on him means he vitally misses Watford game - MM words with him pse! Too many yellows...
Just think he is one of those players who needs that and if you try to take that away, you lose the player he is!! Prob a bit like Ince or Keane, they have that edge!! Still i could be talking a load of **** and Warky/Weighty will point that out!!
